Dew Gamers Arena PUBG Mobile 2020 [DGA PUBGM Rulebook]

This is the only rulebook OF Dew Gamers Arena 2020 which is valid for the tournament, its participants (for the purpose of this Rulebook hereinafter "Team(s)"), and all matches played within the scope of the Tournament. With his participation, the Team and its players (hereinafter "Player(s)") state that they understand and accept all the rules specified in this Rulebook.

Tournament organizers have the right to change the rulebook at any point during the tournament to maintain the integrity of the tournament.

Registration & Tournament Schedule

Qualifier #1:

  • Registrations: 18th April - 22nd April 12pm
  • Qualifiers: 23th April - 28th April
  • Final: 29th April

Qualifier #2:

  • Registrations: 22nd April 12pm - 29th April 12pm
  • Qualifiers: 30th April - 5th May
  • Final: 6th May

Qualifier #3:

  • Registrations: 29th April 12pm - 6th May 12pm
  • Qualifiers: 7th May - 12th May
  • Final: 13th May

Qualifier #4:

  • Registrations: 6th May 12pm - 13th May 12pm
  • Qualifiers: 14th May - 19th May
  • Final: 20th May


DGA 2020 will hold 4 qualifiers for the span of 4 weeks starting from 18th April until 20th May. 
Total number of registrations accepted in each qualifier: 4000 
For the qualifiers, teams will be divided into groups of 16 teams each. 
All Games will be played in Squad TPP mode. 
Server - will be announced a day prior to the start of the tournament.

Game Mode

Best of 1 A single game will be played with map - Erangel in TPP Mode

Best of 3 A pool of 4 games will be played with Maps and modes given below:

  • Game 1: Erangel - TPP
  • Game 2: Sanhok - TPP
Game 3: Miramar - TPP Best of 5 A pool of 5 games will be played with Maps and modes given below:
  • Game 1: Erangel - TPP
  • Game 2: Sanhok - TPP
  • Game 3: Miramar - TPP
  • Game 4: Vikendi - TPP
  • Game 5: Erangel - TPP

Best of 6 A pool of 6 games will be played with Maps and modes given below:

  • Game 1: Erangel - TPP
  • Game 2: Sanhok - TPP
  • Game 3: Miramar - TPP
  • Game 4: Vikendi - TPP
  • Game 5: Erangel - TPP
  • Game 6: Sanhok - TPP
Qualification​: Top 4 teams from each match will move on to the next round on the basis of placement only till the semi finale. all matches are Bo1 for a single group. Semi Finale - Top 64 ​teams are divided into 4 groups. Each group has to play a bo3 out of which the cumulative of their top 2 games will be calculated to determine the top 4 for the weekly finale from that particular group. Weekly Finale - ​out of 4 groups from semi finale - the top 4 from each group qualifies for the weekly finals. It will be a bo5 and points will be calculated in this stage only (placement points + kill points)

Grand Finals -​ ​From every week the top 4 teams of the weekly finale move on to the Grand Finals. Same as the weekly finale, the standings will be determined with the cumulative placement points + kill points of overall 6 games.

 Points System

 Place points are as follows for the specific rounds mentioned above

    Each ​kill​ grants you ​1 point.
    In case of a tiebreaker, a team with the best place will be considered. In case of a tie-breaker in a series, the team with the highest kills will be considered

     Total of both scores will be calculated to determine the first place of each game. : ​​/
    • Usage of iPads and Tablets are restricted in the whole tournament.
    Any device which has a display of more than 7 inches is also banned from using in the tournament.
    Use of emulators are strictly restricted from the tournament​. If a player is found using an emulator, they will be removed from the tournament immediately.
    Teams with less than 3 members in the lobby room will be kicked at the start of the match.

    Any usage of unregistered players will lead to direct disqualification from the tournament.

    How To Play

    1. Register on ​​/
    2.  The tournament administration confirms your participation.
    3.  Tournament administration confirms your group and plays day 1 day before qualifier starts
    4. Tournament administration confirms which slot that your squad is required to join.
    5. Squad captains are required to join the discord channel and mention their team name and select a role for the qualifier they will be playing on. One day before the matches. the tournament admins will share the group details (slots and which group the team is in) on email. It is a captain’s responsibility to ensure that the password is shared with the squad and all the squad members are joining the assigned slot only. Any team not joining the assigned slot will be kicked from the server.
    6. Play the game. The top 4 winning team has to take a screenshot at the end of the match. From the Semi-Finals - all players of the teams have to provide their screenshot after the end of the match for all the games. If the player has not taken a screenshot for the score, his points won't be considered for that match.
    7. Check if you have qualified for the next round and wait for the communication from the admins for Date/Time and more details about the game. NOTE: All the match timings will be fixed and cannot be changed unless the previous match is running with a delay.

    Conditions of Participation in the Tournament


    A tournament participant is a Player who is participating in the tournament. No Player can be part of more than one team while taking part in Dew Gamers Arena 2020.

    Home Country/Region

    A Player’s home country is the country where his main place of residence is. The tournament is open to all players/teams residing in Pakistan only.


    All Players participating in the Tournament have to be over 18 years of age. If a Player is below 18 years of age, such Players shall need to submit a signed consent from their guardian if they qualify for the Grand Finals.

    Number of Players in a Team

    All teams participating in Dew Gamers Arena can have a roster of 4 players in their core squad. A team can also register a substitute and it cannot be changed when it is registered.
    If a team has ​not ​registered a substitute, they request for a substitute to be added in their roster by requesting the league operations team at ​​ but not more than 24 hours before the game start time.

    The team will not be allowed to change the substitute between the tournament. The above rule only applies if the substitute slot was left empty during registration.
    Adding a substitute is subjected to being approved by the league operations team.
    In order to be eligible to play in the tournament, a team is required to have more than 50% of the registered squad present in the lobby to be able to play. Incase if a team is not able to get more than 50% of their team in the lobby for a match, they will be removed from the tournament.

    Game Accounts

    Every Player must have their own PUBG Mobile character ID and must submit it during registration. The same cannot be changed once a tournament has begun.
    Sharing of a Game account is strictly prohibited and once uncovered, necessary actions will be taken.

    The minimum level restriction for a player to participate is level 30.
    A player will not receive kill points if the nickname provided by the team does not match for that individual player playing the matches.

    Changes on the Team Accounts

    Any changes in the Team account should be approved by the Tournament administration before the changes are allowed to take place.
    • Adding or removing Players
    • Changing the Team name 
    • Changing the Team logo

     Replacement Deadline

    Replacements will only be entered into the Tournament stages until a reasonable time before the beginning of the tournament phase. If by then no replacement could be found, the tournament may start with one less participant instead.
    If a Team is for any reason unable to complete any more in the Tournament, and is removed before the replacement deadline, the next best possible replacement will be called up. The tournament organizers shall have the sole right to decide on the next possible replacement. Replacement teams will be considered and contacted to ask whether or not they want to participate.
    Teams are not allowed to change names mid-season. However, they can request the same with the league operations team at ​

    Prize Distribution Ceremony Attendance

    Each team has to ensure that the entire team of 5 players are present for the prize distribution. In case a team fails to attend the prize distribution as a whole, their tournament prizes will be forfeited (only Grand Finals).


    All matches in the Tournament should start as stated on the website, no changes to the time can be requested. All Teams and Players in a match should be on the server or in the game lobby and ready to go at the latest 15 minutes before the match is to start.

    Match Timings

    Match timings are absolute unless changes have been confirmed by the Tournament administration.
    All participants are informed that the matches could be delayed due to the previous match being played for a longer time than scheduled, technical issues, and the participants agree to such delays. Under no circumstance, such delays entitle the participants to report late for a match.

    No Show

    If a team is not ready to play within 15 minutes of the official match starting time, the team will be considered as a no show and will receive a default loss.
    If a qualified team withdraws from the tournament and do not attend the grand finale, they agree to forfeit their unpaid prize money and the next best possible team will be invited to attend the grand finale.

    In addition to this, players may also be required for interviews with members of the Press and/or Dew Gamers Arena organizers throughout the tournament.

    Breach of Etiquette

    For an orderly and pleasant game, it is essential that all Players have a sporting and fair attitude. The most important and most common offenses are listed below. However, the Tournament administration may assign penalties for not explicitly listed types of unsportsmanlike behavior (e.g. harassment).


    All insults occurring in connection with the Tournament will be punished. This primarily applies to insults during a match but also on the tournament website or Facebook page. Insults on IRC, IM programs, email, or other means of communication will be punished if the evidence is clear.
    Particularly severe abuse cases with radical statements or the threat of physical violence can result in significantly heavier penalties including the exclusion or the ban of the Player from the Tournament. The ban duration will be decided from the tournament administration depending on the nature of the case.


    The excessive posting of senseless, harassing or offensive messages are regarded as spamming in the Tournament. Spamming on the tournament website and Facebook page will be punished depending on nature and severity.

    Spamming in-game

    Penalties will be awarded if the chat function in-game is abused towards the goal of annoying the opponent, or generally stir the flow of the play.

    Unsportsmanlike Behaviour

    For an orderly and pleasant game it is essential that all Players have a sportive and fair attitude. Breaches of this rule will be punished. However, the Tournament administration may assign penalties for not explicitly listed types of unsportsmanlike behaviour (e.g. harassment).


    The attempt to mislead admins or other Players, using false information, or in any other way deceive other Players or Teams will be punished. Common offenses are mentioned below.
    a) Faking Match media
    b) When cheating is suspected, and the match media in question has been faked, then six minor penalty points will be awarded.
    c) Ringer/Faker
    d) Playing with Disallowed Player
    e) Misleading admins or players


    When cheating is uncovered, The Team will be disqualified from the current Tournament.
    When cheating is uncovered, the player in question will suffer a ban from as per Esports Integrity Coalition (ESIC).
    Teammates who were aware of cheating by their fellow teammate will also be banned as per Esports Integrity Coalition (ESIC)

    Betting or Gambling

    No Players, Team managers, staff or management of attending organizations may be involved in betting or gambling, associate with betters or gamblers, or provide anyone any information that may assist betting or gambling, either directly or indirectly, for any of the Tournament matches or the Tournament in general. Any betting or gambling for/against your own organization's matches will lead to immediate disqualification of the organization for all persons involved. Any other violation will be penalized at the sole discretion of the Tournament administration.

    ESIC Compliance

    In the situation that any team or any player is found to be using unethical means to gain an unfair advantage during the matches or is found to be a cheater at any time in the past in the relevant game, the organizers reserve the right to suspend the gamer for a period of up to 2 years from the tournament, as per an ESIC Ruling (which will be taken as per their integrity program, details: on the case and the right to relegate the remaining players to the Starter Cup.
    The affected team in such a case also loses the right to any unclaimed prize monies
    and the right to play the remainder of the matches in the current tournament.
    The tournament organizers reserve the right to immediately withdraw any travel or stay support extended to the said team on an immediate basis.
